Foundation Purpose

  The University operates three dormitories to offer convenience to students from areas other than Nonsan and to enhance the efficiency of its education by providing students with opportunities to develop a cooperative spirit and leadership skills through living in groups.


Residence Halls

Student Residence Halls are composed of Banyahaksa, Guyeonhaksa, Hyonamhaksa and a new one under construction. Now, the three halls house 1,326 students (486 men and 840 women). The four residence halls are surrounded by a beautiful forest of pine trees, offering a pleasant and comfortable living environment. When the last one is established, the residence halls will house about 2,000 students. The halls are managed by a live-in professor and assistants in each building provide the residents opportunities to develop a sound value system and character through various programs.


Comparison

Guyeonhaksa is five stories high and houses 486 male students. The hall has 4 rest areas, a basketball court, a volleyball court, ping pong tables, a cafeteria, and laundry rooms. Each room is equipped with an internet connection. Banyahaksa is four stories high and houses 260 female students. Hyeonamhaksa is five story high (one basement and 4 floors) and houses 580 woman students.


Application Regulation

1. Qualifications
Among those who come from the Seoul metropolitan or other areas, who have shown good academic results, who is of good conduct, and who keep good health, freshmen have priority.
2. Period
Freshmen students: At the registration period after announcing early and regular recruited lists. Sophomore and Junior students: At the end of September
3. Selecting Criteria
Freshmen: 1) distance from the university and academic record Sophomore and Junior students: former year's academic results (Among those who have priority are children of veterans, students from poor families, and students with a sibling at the university, and the handicapped.)
4. Policies
1. Residence term is a year.
2. Each hall is managed by a live-in-professor.
3. Leaders of each hall and floor are given scholarships.
