Liberal Arts

The School of Liberal Arts plays the role to bridge between the Konyang University motto of "Education of Learned Man" and its educational goals. Without education in liberal arts, students cannot be called truly professionals. Therefore, the courses offered by the school are not the secondary program to the major courses. A broad study of disciplines in the arts and sciences is the core of higher education. Most students in the university--no matter what career training they choose--devote a substantial portion of their studies to the arts and sciences.

A large number of interdisciplinary and extradisciplinary programs are available for students to think effectively; to communicate by their own thought; to judge reasonably; and to develop keen insight in evaluating various values.
