Mechanical-Architectural-Civil Engineering

This school combines Mechanical, Architectural, and Civil Engineering and attempts to develop the abilities of its students so that they may continually progress with the advancing field of engineering and take part in the solution of the technical as well as many of the economic and social problems which will arise during their lifetimes. Mechanical Engineering Major.

Mechanical Engineering Major [Go to Homepage]

The major provides educational opportunities for undergraduate students who wish to develop an awareness of technology. Mechanical engineering involves the design, development and manufacture of machinery and devices to transmit power or to convert energy form thermal to mechanical form in order to power the modern world and its machines. Its current practice has been heavily affected by recent advances in computer hardware and software. The program is designed to develop a uniquely qualified individual capable of functioning in a variety of employment contexts which are directly dependent on the application area. This major produces engineers who understand more advanced technical materials, learn high technology and its practical application methods to our real life, and work for globalization.

Architecture Major [Go to Homepage]

Architectural Engineering Major strives to educate its students as architects and engineers who are capable of carrying out the various professional activities of creating an architectural environment. The major studies human habitation, the most basic science, and provides students with a synthetic study of the art and science of architecture which seeks to enhance the desirable form of things and researches the beautiful form and scientific function to clarify living space.
As the industrial structure of our country becomes more complex and moves towards the information age, the increasing social need for higher education has to be satisfied. The major's strict education fosters the highest quality of architects and engineers, and continuous technical and theoretical research has established us as one of the leaders in the architectural field.
Educational objectives of the program are widening students' interests in academic knowledge, developing students ability to accommodate needs of the changing society and utilizing a wide range of information effectively.

Interior Architecture Major [Go to Homepage]

The major also has an Interior Architecture program where students study the various elements to make a comfortable interior environment for human life by remodelling and renovating buildings and combining space functions, human psychology, and aesthetic theory on the basis of practical usage in building. The major endeavors to make all students take the first degree certificate for Architectural Engineer.

Civil Engineering Major [Go to Homepage]

Civil Engineering covers diverse engineering fields ranging from constructing structures to maintaining and administrating those structures. Civil engineering works on a range of projects such as harbors, dams, reservoirs, pipelines, water and wastewater treatment plants, landfills, excavations, roads, bridges, highways, airports, buildings, tunnels, industrial facilities, and even space stations. To successfully accomplish these various works, civil engineering also uses state-of-the-art technology, including use of computer modeling in structural design and analysis, use of high-tech management system for water resources, use of high-tech engineering materials, and global positioning satellites.
To catch up with the changing demands on continuous development and application of new approaches, civil engineering embodies new high technology concepts and products in the design and construction of facilities, facilities harmonizing with civil environs.
